Synchronous Addition SFS1 for Transmitter Frequency Stabilization

PDF-File: Detail description of SFS1 (German)

The stabilization of the transmitter occurs through a subsequent tuning process that is carried out within 50 ms after the transmitter is switched on.  Stabilization occurs through comparison of transmitter frequency at antenna output of radio set, which is fed to synchronization addition, and is measured and compared with highly stable reference frequency. The module, which is controlled by a microprocessor, works with an adaptive synthesizer that enables the stabilization of transmitter frequencies in the range of 68 MHz to 175 MHz.

Technical Data:

The module SFS1 incorporates a highly stable 10 MHz reference oscillator with a reference frequency that deviates less than ±1.10 –8 from nominal value.

Operating temperature range: -20 °C to +55 °C
